Some images from the Inaugural Run, Walk and Roll hosted Saturday morning in the new East Peoria Levee District. This fundraiser was the first race of the year for Mark Scott in his quest to run a minimum of 50, 5-K races in 50 weeks. Mark’s  goal is to raise at least $ 100,000.00 for the kids of Easter Seals in the process. He is also establishing a new Endowed Scholarship fund in the name of his young buddy Payton J McSimov. I hope you enjoy the various shots from the awesome Spring sunny day, and plan to follow Mark as he runs to raise money for the kids and mark your calendars to attend next years event.

A big shout out to Kati Faletti the gracious host for the day along with her awesome friendly staff. I was once again privileged to be asked to photograph the 12th Annual Lyle Finch Memorial Claybird Classic at the Oak Ridge Sportsman’s Club in Mackinaw, IL. Throughout his career, Lyle Finch was not only known as a successful businessman, but as a highly respected leader in the construction industry. He is also fondly remembered as a loyal friend, an avid outdoorsman, and owner of the Rice Pond Duck Preserve in Chillicothe, IL.  In his honor, the Lyle Finch Memorial Claybird Classic was created. It was another fantastic event hosted by Doug and Diane Oberhelman. Thanks to all of the shooter’s who help raise $285,000 at the event. The proceeds from the days event helps benefit the children of Easter Seals. A number of the kids and President and CEO Steve Thompson wanted to express there love of Easter Seals and say thank you for supporting them on this special day.
