Some photo’s from Thursday nights inaugural event to raise money for a great cause.  Thanks to all of the vendors and sponsors who helped make this event a success. Funds From the Heart Foundation provides funding to individual families and/or businesses within communities that are in need of long-term disaster relief. The effects of disasters look different within each community. Our Mission is to raise funds that will be used to meet needs in the rebuilding of communities affected by disaster, both domestic and international. By working with city officials, business owners, and locals within each affected area, we assess each situation to see how we can best help.

Some images from the OSF Foundation 2nd annual 5K “Fight to the Finish” endurance race for the adults and the children’s fun run at Jubilee State Park in Brimfield, IL. The weather was perfect for with 300+ participants who help to raise money to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Everyone had a great time especially the young kids who attacked the “Rumble in the Jungle” obstacle course with it’s own jumps, hills and water hazard.

Some images from the Inaugural Run, Walk and Roll hosted Saturday morning in the new East Peoria Levee District. This fundraiser was the first race of the year for Mark Scott in his quest to run a minimum of 50, 5-K races in 50 weeks. Mark’s  goal is to raise at least $ 100,000.00 for the kids of Easter Seals in the process. He is also establishing a new Endowed Scholarship fund in the name of his young buddy Payton J McSimov. I hope you enjoy the various shots from the awesome Spring sunny day, and plan to follow Mark as he runs to raise money for the kids and mark your calendars to attend next years event.
