The Bradley women’s basketball team hosted its eighth annual Pink Zone game Saturday against the Creighton Bluejays at Renaissance Coliseum. The Pink Zone initiative is a global, unified effort for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s (WBCA) nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Former Bradley student Dr. Lynne Jalovec was the honorary coach for the game.

Sophomore Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) scored a team-high 19 points and Bradley committed a season-low 13 turnovers, but the Braves couldn’t keep up with Creighton which connected on 12 three-pointers and shot a blistering 57 percent from three-point range to top BU 72-50 before 1,019 fans. Net donations from the game helped BU raise approximately $2,500.00.
