Trying to overcome its largest deficit of the season (12 points) in the final 5:59, Bradley (3-1) had the tying shot in the air twice in the final 40 seconds, but could not get over the hump in a 70-66 loss to visiting Wofford (2-2) in the second round of the Chicago Invitational Challenge Tuesday night at Carver Arena. Kevin Giltner scored a career-best 29 points to lead three Terriers in double figures. Drew Crowell added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Karl Cochran added 12 points and eight boards for Wofford. Bradley junior guard Dyricus Simms-Edwards paced three Braves in double figures with 22 points. Senior forward Taylor Brown recorded his second straight double-double with 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while sophomore guard Walt Lemon, Jr.chipped in 14 points.
