Goal keeper Dov Grumet-Morris made 21 saves in the third period alone, 49 in all and four more in the shootout as the San Antonio Rampage stole a 4-3 win away from Peoria on Saturday night at Carver Arena. Played in front of a season-high 8,034, the earned a point for the third straight game as they are 2-0-0-1 to start their six game home stand. The Rivermen set a season-high in shots with 52 and came within one of their AHL franchise record that was set back on Feb. 21, 2006 vs. San Antonio.  Derek Nesbitt led the way offensively for Peoria with 11 shots on goal and two of the three Rivermen goals. Cade Fairchild also chipped in two assists. In the shootout, Grumet-Morris stopped all four Rivermen shooters while Mike McKenna was beaten twice on three shootout attempts. It was the first time this season that McKenna dropped a shootout, having stopped 16 of 17 shooters coming into the game.

Goalie Alex Stalock made 31 saves and T.J. Hensick scored the only goal as the Peoria Rivermen shutout the San Antonio Rampage 1-0 on Sunday evening at Carver Arena before 3,845 fans. It is the ninth shutout of the season by Rivermen goaltenders and the first for Stalock who was making his first start since joining the team. The Rivermen snapped a five-game skid (0-4-0-1) now have a record of 37-30-2-2, 78 points and a tie for eighth place in the AHL Western Conference.T.J. Hensick scored with 0.5 seconds remaining in the second period. With a faceoff inside the Rampage zone and 5.6 seconds left, Cade Fairchild fired a slap shot that went wide of the net but bounced off the wall right to Hensick who shot the puck into the open goal. The Peoria Rivermen took sole possession of first place in the West Division of the Western Conference in American Hockey League action Wednesday night. The Rivermen rallied twice from two-goal deficits to defeat San Antonio 7-4 before 4,269 at Carver Arena. Peoria was lead by Derek Nesbitt who scored 4 goals, while linemates T.J. Hensick (3 assists) and Graham Mink (2 Assists) came up big and Nathan Oystrick notched a goal and added two assists.
