A few shot’s behind the scenes that I took at the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament in LaCrosse, WI on the Mississippi River. Some snaps of the young children on the anglers before the 6:15 a.m. boat launch. There was a huge fan turnout for both the morning take-off as well of the afternoon weigh-in. The four day tournament was won by 37 year-old  Skeeter/Yamaha professional Todd Faircloth of Jasper,  TX. They move on to Green Bay, WI this week for there 7th event of the season on Lake Michigan.

It was a warm and beautiful evening Friday night, with start of the second half of the Class A Midwest League. With long time MLB rivals the Cubs and the Cardinals getting ready to battle. A huge crowd of 5,513 baseball fans at O’Brien Field were treated to a pre-game appearance by the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Once the game got underway the Famous Chicken entertained fans of all ages.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days up close and personal photographing a B.A.S.S. Elite Series legend Mark Davis in LaCrosse, WI. He is without a doubt one of the finest gentleman in bass fishing with a resume that includes three Toyota Angler of the Year awards and a 1995 Classic winner. The 49 year-old father of three boys (James, Hunter & Fisher) and his wife Tilly reside in Mt.Ida, AR.
