This was a clash of two of the top prep school teams in the country. The top rated Findlay Prep Pilots from Las Vegas, NV held on to defeat La Lumiere School Lakers from LaPorte, IN 54-50 at the 5th Annual State Farm Tournament of Champions in Washington, IL. Findlay was led in scoring by senior guard Myck Kabongo with 14 points while the Lakers junior forward Hanner Perea scored 15 points and pulled down 17 rebounds.

The Marshall County Tigers from Lewisburg, TN defeated the Limestone Rockets 80-70 at the 2010 State Farm Tournament of Champions. Senior point guard Kedren Johnson who is committed to play basketball at Vanderbilt University next year scored 42 points and added 14 rebounds & 9 assists. The Rockets were led by all-state point guard Donivine Stewart who will play for Bradley scored 22 points.

The Academy of the New Church Lions from Bryn Athyn, PA hung on to defeat La Lumiere School from La Porte, IN 42-37 in there 1st round game at the 5th Annual State Farm Tournament of Champions in Washington, IL. The ANC Lions were led by 7’0″ senior center Malcolm Gilbert with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Antonio “BOBO” Drummond had 15 points for the Lakers.

The Basha High School Bears defeated the host Washington, IL Panthers Thanksgiving night 51-49 at the 5th Annual State Farm Tournament of Champions. Basha was led by 6’8″ super sophomore Torren Jones who scored 18 points and 14 rebounds. Alec Peters paced the Panthers with 14 points.

The most talented boys basketball team in the country are playing this holiday weekend at the 5th Annual State Farm Tournament of Champions in Washington, IL.  Findlay easily defeated Brehm Prep from Carbondale, Il 86-65. The Findlay Prep Pilots are led by a trio of  D-1 College  players, Myck Kabongo (Texas), Amir Garrett (St. John’s) and Nick Johnson (Arizona). The Pilots are coming off a ESPN RISE National Championship in 2009 over Montverde Academy.
